Warsaw Golf Courses and Clubs

(Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland)

Photo of golf club in nearby LodzGolf courses in Poland are fairly scarce and good clubs near to Warsaw are especially hard to come by. However, due to a slow but steady increasing number of keen golfers from around Poland, the amount of courses in the country is growing, both in number and quality.

The First Warsaw Golf and Country Club is really the only course worth mentioning in the Masovia province of Poland. This is a particularly beautiful golf course and features some surprising scenery, such as old trees and many lakes, along with extensive facilities. These include a driving range with 20 bays and floodlights, practice putting green and even golfing lessons for those looking to improve their game.

Also available at the First Warsaw Golf and Country Club is a rather sumptuous terrace, with adjoins the clubhouse and its restaurant. The club features an 18-hole course and additional nine-hole practice course, which can be reached in around 40 minutes, being situated in the suburb of Jablonna, close to the Wisla River Valley. In the past, several European golfing tournaments have been hosted here, including the Polish Open.
