Mykonos Island National Airport (JMK) Information
(Mykonos, Cyclades, Greece)
The Mykonos Island National Airport is located on the western side of the island, being only a ten-minute drive away from the coastal capital of Mykonos Town, which lies on the far westerly coast. Around 350,000 passengers pass through this airport every year, coming to enjoy the island's relaxing beaches and lively nightlife.
The airport provides international flights and charters during the busy summer season to destinations such as Rome, London, Berlin, Istanbul, Zurich and
Paris. During the less popular winter season, the airport mainly provides domestic flights to other parts of Greece.
A wide selection of airlines operate from Mykonos, but the ones offering the most routes are EasyJet, Meridiana Fly, Thomson Airways and Aegean Airlines. After arrival, passengers can choose from a range of transport options, with public buses, shuttle buses, taxis and rental cars all available.

Buses
Select hotels across the island of Mykonos offer shuttle bus pick-ups. Irregular public bus services to the town's southern bus station only operate during the busy high season.
Taxis
Taxis are available from outside the terminal building and run to the centre of Mykonos Town, as well as to the plentiful beach resorts around the coast of Mykonos. However, visitors should be prepared to wait for a cab during the peak summer season. If there are no cabs waiting for pick-ups, passengers can call for a taxi using the phone numbers of local cab firms, which are posted at the airport taxi rank. Of note, drivers charge extra for luggage.
