Nuremberg Parks and Gardens

(Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany)

Picture of summer flowersThere is no shortage of spacious green areas, parklands and gardens within the city of Nuremberg. The Stadtpark (City Park) is an important recreational space and offers a number of summer theatrical events, while the Castle Gardens features plenty of seasonal interest, including maple trees, which are particularly dramatic in autumn, where their cloak of green leaves change to shades of fire.

For horticulture and landscape gardening at its finest, Nuremberg's historic Hesperides Gardens boast Italian-style planting.
