There are also some superb art galleries dotted around Saint Tropez, which may well be of interest to any visiting connoisseur of art.

The Gallery George Flanet is located along the Rue François Sibilli and features a range of art works for sale, often landscapes, which have been created by prominent local artist, George Flanet. Also in Saint Tropez and worthy of a look is the Gallerie Suffren, which enjoys a central location on the Place de la Garonne.

General Information

Other popular art galleries around the town include the Gallery Henrie Sie, where many impressionist paintings of Provence can be enjoyed, and the Céramique 1900, where some stylish pottery and earthenware pieces can be purchased. Saint Tropez's Céramique 1900 often features ceramics by famous artists, such as Pablo Picasso and Lucien Brisdoux.

An extensive permanent collection of paintings is to be found at the Annunciation Museum / Art Museum of Saint Tropez (Musée de l'Annonciade), which is located close to the port, in a former church on the Place Georges-Grammont. This popular art gallery features paintings by artists such as Henri Matisse and Paul Signac, and is open throughout the year (January to May, October to December, Wednesday to Sunday - 10:00 to 12:00, 15:00 to 18:00; June to September, daily - 10:00 to 12:00, 15:00 to 19:00).
