Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL) Information

(Tallinn, Harjumaa, Estonia)

Recently renamed after Estonia's second president and leader of the Baltic nation's independence movement, the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport stands on Lake Ulemiste's eastern shore, near Estonia's national capital.

In 1998, the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport's annual passenger traffic was hovering just above 500,000 and it is now almost two million. This heavy throughput makes the air facility not only Estonia's busiest, but the second-busiest in all three Baltic countries. Between 2006 and 2008, the airport's terminal was greatly expanded to double its maximum passenger capacity.

Seasonal flights to destinations as far away as Thailand, Bali and Egypt are available alongside the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport's year-round, non-stop flights to cities throughout Europe. With two bus stops at its terminal and a scenic location near Muuga Harbour, the city's major port, the Lennart Meri Airport has become the most important air hub in Estonia.
