The daily Guildhall Market is always popular and enjoys a central setting, just across from the Corridor and the NatWest bank. This is one of the main markets and is full of fascinating family owned stalls, in the grand Guildhall building, which is close to Pulteney Bridge and just around the corner from the Victoria Art Gallery.

Christmas Market

The Christmas Market is one of the newest in the city and has already become a Yuletide tradition, running for just under three weeks from late November to mid-December. This popular continent-style Christmas market is held in the heart of the city during early December, to one side of the Bath Abbey, along York Street and around the oval Abbey Green. The stalls are housed in some 130 individual wooden chalets. Visitors can expect hot mulled wine, German sausages, jewellery, pottery and big crowds.
