Zagreb Museums

(Zagreb, Croatia)

The 'city of museums' lives up to its moniker easily, with Zagreb having more of these per head than anywhere. There are museums on natural history, Croatian history, archaeology, ethnography and more.

Many of Zagreb's museums and top cultural attractions reside in the Lower Town (Donji Grad). If you are planning a cultural overload during your visit, then consider purchasing the Zagreb Card, which is valid for either 24 or 72 hours and provides discounts at the majority of the museums in the city. The card also offers savings at a number of shops and restaurants, as well as allowing unlimited use of public transport, and so may well save you some money during your visit.
