Re. Captivating Nature
Hope I don't sound like I'm nitpicking, mate, but you forgot to mention the New Zealand Glow Worms too! Never seen anything quite like them. Of course the best time to enjoy them in all their beauty is well after the sun has gone down!

Captivating Nature
I enjoyed the wildlife the most when at Milford Sound and found it more impressive than the scenery, if that were possible. Whether its dolphins, seals, or penguins you like, all of them can be seen here and I have photos in my album that will be with me for life.

Re. The Best Way to See the Area
I opted for the overnight cruise that you mentioned and it was brilliant! I'm a little too old to be indulging in such activities, but they reckon that kayaking is just as good a way to see Milford Sound as the cruises are. Just a thought.

The Best Way to See the Area
'Where do I sign?' is what I asked when offered the chance to take a cruise on Milford Sound and you have the choice of going early-doors or in the late afternoon. There are also some overnight cruises too. The only way to see some parts of Milford Sound that aren't usually accessible.

Choppering in Help
I'll never forget the helicopter flight I took from Te Anau into the heart of Milford Sound. I was simply lost for words. As scenic as it gets and, although a lot more expensive, far better than the four hour drive we would have to have completed otherwise.
