Bandaneira Church
The Bandaneira Church was damaged during religious violence on the island but visitors can still see the ruins. Features of this site include Doric columns and the building exemplifies the style of other Dutch religious sites. The church is not functioning as no congregation uses the building.

Re. Manusela National Park
You can hire a guide to show you easier trails and the best places for bird watching.

Manusela National Park
Spent the whole day at the Manusela National Park, which was the first of its kind in the area. It extends from the central region to the north coast. The scenery was beautiful but I found the hiking a bit difficult. I would recommend that only experienced hikers go on the trails. I saw the most birds in the lower region of the forest and spotted some other wildlife there too.

Diving and Snorkelling
Loved the diving and my children were kept busy snorkelling. We had to search for diving shops but eventually we managed to find one and luckily we bought our own equipment for snorkelling.

Goa Akohi
Goa Akohi was well worth a visit and we paid a guide, which made navigating the caves a lot easier. We had to ask the caretaker to let us in after negotiating an entrance fee. Afterwards we went to Tamilouw village where we bought delicious fruit from a street side store. It was great to see more of the islands and learn about the everyday life of the locals.
