Goa - A Tourist Destination
I have had the most enjoyable three days at Goa with my family. The place is truly the holiday capital of India if not Asia...the place caters to every kind of tourist and guarantees a truly great time. A visit to Goa at least once a year is highly recommended. Goa..You Rock!!

The Best beach in Goa
Kerri Beach has got to be one of the best beaches in the Goa area, if not THE best of the bunch. It is a reasonable drive to the north of baga and the best bit is that it is so lovely and quiet. Tourism just doesn't seem to exist here - yet anyway.

Coco Beach
We enjoyed spending time just hanging out around Coco Beach in Goa. We got there on a fairly uneventful tuktuk journey and decided to go on one of the boat trips. We chose the dolphin watching boat, although my partner quite fancied trying his hand at deep sea fishing - in his dreams!

Dudhsagar Waterfalls
These dramatic falls are close to central Goa and well worth trying to get to by any means possible. We took a taxi which was fairly expensive, but their are bus trips and trains stopping quite nearby. To actually reach the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, you will need to travel by jeep, passing lots of friendly monkeys as you go. When we got here, some people were swimming under the waterfall itself - it looked very tropical, like it belonged on a desert island in the Caribbean.

Beach Huts at Palolem Beach
My main memory of Goa is the beach huts at Palolem Beach. The lovely little huts stand above the sand on stilts and for a very small charge you can rent them for the day - and night. Something for all you romantics out there. Bonfires on the beach at night are a common sight. Always choose the hut with the best view, rather than taking the one that you are given.
