Gatlinburg Golf Courses and Clubs

(Gatlinburg, Tennessee - TN, USA)

Visitors to Gatlinburg will find that the majority of the golf courses within the city's environs tend to be of a miniature kind, being perfect for those with young children. These include the Old Gatlinburg Golf and Game on Reagan Drive, Blindshot Barnaby's Circus, the Hillbilly and Ripley's Davy Crockett, all of which reside on the Parkway.

For a more serious game, the Bent Creek Golf Village really is the place to come, being located roughly 11 miles / 18 km to the east of the city, just past the quaint town of Pittman Center. Bent Creek was designed by famous South African professional golfer, Gary Player, who has won numerous major championships and more than 150 tournaments. The first nine holes have been designed to follow the line of the valley, while the remaining holes are more challenging and make the very most of the mountainous scenery.

Players will be treated to a breathtaking backdrop provided by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, combined with wide fairways and many mature trees, with a meandering mountain stream providing a natural challenge.

Bent Creek comes with a host of facilities, including mountain cabins and condos, a full-service shop, PGA staff and instructors, and food and drink available at the Creek Side Grill. Built in 1972, golfing fees are fairly inexpensive, with discounts for those only wishing to play a round of nine holes.
