My experience of the Creative Discovery Museum
The Creative Discovery Museum is perfect for children. It is in the downtown district and is packed with fun things to do, like the rooftop displays and the RiverPlay area, a soft play area with lots of climbing equipment and tunnels. There is even an area where toddlers can play to their heart's content - the 'Little Yellow House'. Dinosaur lovers can even try their hand at excavating their very own fossils.

The Tennessee Aquarium
The Tennessee Aquarium is on the Chattanooga waterfront and is one of my favorites, and I've been to a lot of aquariums. The building itself is quite impressive, with its angular roof and dramatic architecture. It is actually the world's biggest freshwater aquarium attraction and as you walk around the exhibits, you learn the 'Story of the River'. You can easily spend at entire day here, easily. Leave yourself enough time to do it justice.

Downtown Chattanooga
A stroll around the downtown district is always time well spent. There are a lot of good shops and cafes here, along with some nice statues. Although there may be little in the way of attractions here, it really is quite a pleasant area.

Chattanooga Lookout Mountain
Lookout Mountain is one of the best attractions in Chattanooga and this definitely one for the tourists. There are a lot of interesting things to do here, although the countryside and the views are worth it alone. On a clear day, you can see for miles. The Ruby Falls were pretty awesome as well and this underground waterfall is around 150 feet high. Wish I'd brought my camera.
