Fabulous Taos Pueblo
This attraction is really old, something like a thousand years or so. The Pueblo (community) is just a short distance north of Taos and is one of the most photographed siights in the Western Hemisphere. The buildings are a browny red color and huge, and most homes have just two rooms. Lots of the rooms have local art works hanging and people still actually live here today. A small river runs through the center, providing the inhabitants with a fresh supply of water all the year round. It is really, really good, but in my mind, the price is a bit steep.

Breathtaking Rio Grande Gorge Bridge
This is an absolutely awesome sight and I honestly really didn't quite know what to expect - certainly not what I found. The Rio Grande Gorge Bridge really is something quite special and spans the gorge below for around 800 meters. It has won lots of awards since being built, in 1965, and has also appeared in some movies. It is around 15 km to the northwest of Taos. You will see why when you get here - what an incredible backdrop. We took a walk around the area and enjoyed some amazing views. There is a handy car park close by the bridge - believe me you will want to stop and park up!
