If you are vacationing in Annapolis and need to satisfy your cravings for the game of golf, then a couple of nine-hole courses are on hand. Lying on the far southern side of the city and close to Lake Ogleton, the Annapolis Golf Club is best reached by taking the Duke of Gloucester Street, crossing the Spa Creek and then heading along the Bay Ridge Avenue. Once you reach the Bay Ridge Market Place Shopping Center, you are less than five minutes' drive away.
Lying on the far westerly outskirts of the city and just off the Harry S. Truman Parkway (Route 50-301), the Heritage Harbor Golf Club may also appeal, with its forested valley setting, pro shop, challenging terrain and clubhouse. Use of this course is restricted to members and also their guests, although non-members may be permitted during group events, or if sponsored by an existing member.

The Annapolis Golf Club is a semi-private nine-hole course, with an undulating landscape, sand bunkers and elevated greens. Additional tees are available if visitors wish to play 18 holes. The club dates back to 1925 and is one of the area's oldest and most prestigious courses.

The Heritage Harbor Golf Club is an impressive private nine-hole golf course, with undulating landscaping. Built in 1981, this par-three course is known for its inexpensive green fees, which can either be paid per day or annually.
