Located close to the Public Library and the City Center Park, the Aurora History Museum serves as a popular local cultural center and is run solely by the community. Families will enjoy spending time wandering around the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum, and although this attraction is actually located in Denver, it is much closer to Aurora city center (ten minutes to the west) than it is to downtown Denver itself.
