The Aspen Center for Environment Studies is an excellent non-profit environmental education center along the banks of the Roaring Fork River aimed at conserving the environment and the wildlife it supports. Highlights include guided walks and eagle, hawk and owl demonstrations, as well as the nature preserve around Hallam Lake.
