Re. Just an hour away
Do you like aquariums too? Just wondering if you tried Delfinario de Cienfuegos when you were in my town? Was it great?

Just an hour away
Although we were more than happy with the attractions on offer, the main purpose of our visit to Cienfuegos was to visit the El Nicho Waterfalls. I recommend them to all nature lovers, especially those on honeymoon. We got lovely photos of our family near the falls, and this is a prime example of a beautiful Cuban park if anyone has an interest in visiting one while in the country.

Lovely colonial buildings
As we all know, Spain once colonised Cuba. Thankfully though, they left behind lots of lovely colonial buildings such as the Palacio de Valle. This was my favourite attraction in Cienfuegos and I particularly enjoyed the terrace on the top floor.

Beautiful yet buzzing Cuban neighbourhood
Punta Gorda is without doubt one of the nicest neighbourhoods I have ever seen anywhere in the world, let alone Cuba. This is where the sun and the sea come together, and I particularly advise a visit to here if you are fan of cocktails! The best bars are around the 'Public Park'.

Famous cemetery
Others told me to go to La Reina instead but I preferred to visit Tomas Acea. It was a lovely yet modest cemetery where anyone of note that hailed from the local area is now buried. Not as good as the one in Paris, but still as worthy.
