Parque Jose Marti

Located on the south-eastern side of the Parque Jose Marti is the oldest building in Cienfuegos, the Casa del Fundador, which was formerly the residence of the city's founder, Louis d'Clouet, before becoming a bank and more recently, a shop selling local souvenirs. The Soledad Botanical Gardens are to be found just out of town, off the road to Trinidad.
