The weather in Salisbury is typical of an English climate and is often unpredictable. During the summer months of May, June, July, August and September, there are many fine and often extremely sunny days and the climate is generally mild. However, the weather can be fairly changeable and the morning may start off rather gloomy and damp, and by the afternoon the sun can be shining and the temperature soaring.

Spring is a particularly popular time to visit Salisbury, in March, April and May, when temperatures remain generally mild, although some days may be rainy and windy. Many of the trees begin to flower at this time of the year and city parks and gardens are filled with drifts of daffodils and other spring flowers.
