Re: Theatrical Wonders
I also went to see Blood Brothers at the Empire Theatre recently. Do you remember who the actor is who plays Mickey? He was really great. I was very surprised at the quality of the show, it rivaled London for me.

Theatrical Wonders
I visited the Sunderland Empire Theatre to see one of my favourite shows, Blood Brothers. It was a great evening out! The theatre itself boasts some lovely architecture dating back to 1907 and it regularly gets some great shows gracing the stage, I will definitely be returning.

St. Peter's
I didn't find myself taken with Sunderland at all. It rained the whole time we were there and we were at quite a loss for things to do. Found some refuge in the remarkable St. Peter's Church though, which a passerby informed us was one to the UK's fist stone built church.

Green Fingers
My husband and I are avid gardeners so we spend a lot of time visiting Gardens around the UK. The Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens was one of the better ones we have seen this year; with over 2,000 types of tropical flowers and plants inside.

Blood Pumping Adrenaline
Went on a recent work team building trip to Sunderland, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The Silkswork Sports Complex was a highlight, especially watching my boss aboard a giant inflatable donut, hurdling down some snowy slopes!
