Lovely Cathedral
Canterbury Cathedral is a gorgeous building in the heart of the city and has got to be the city's most famous landmark. It has such as important past and is connected to some many different famous people from the past. In fact, St. Thomas Becket was actually murdered here in the 12th century. We enjoyed just sitting in the grounds and hada picnic next to the cathedral.

Fun Chaucers Canterbury Tales Medieval Misadventures
Families here often visit Canterbury Tales 'Medieval Misadventures'. It is well thought out and tries to recreate like in the 14th century. There is a lot to take in and most seem to enjoy it. You journey through different setting and start at the 'Knight's Tale, finally reaching the 'End of the Road', where there is a reconstruction of the Thomas Beckett shrine. It is located on St. Margarets Street and close to the shops.

Look at the West Gate
The West Gate is near St. Peter Street. It was once the gateway into Canterbury and an important part of the medieval city wall. Over the years it had served many uses, and was once even a prison. There is now a museum in the West Gate and fom the top are some nice views across the city - bring a camera for sure.
