Best Views Around
Some of the best views form the top of Matukituki Valley. My wife and I had a great time and recommend it to all - most people are pretty friendly and helpful, but New Zealand certainly has some characters.

A Definitive Holiday
We weren't planning to visit Lake Wanaka when we came, but it was so recommended. We were so happy to go and must recommend the site!

Perfect Outdoor Setting
If you like golf, Lake Wanaka has it. There is also skiing, biking, hiking. It is an excellent place for outdoor adventures with the family.

Make a Point to Go
Lake Wanaka was one of the beautiful places in New Zealand - and there are many - There were plenty of outdoor activities and I was happy to find that there is a nice sense of camaraderie amongst the adventure tourists. We had a great time.

So-So Hotels, But Excellent Outdoors
Nice area, but my hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Sorta get the feeling that there aren't many options for tourists so they don't try that hard. Still had a good time. The Paradiso has movies nightly which is great if you are traveling alone.
