Nearby, Marine Parade is another good place to find somewhere to eat and stands next to the scenic Queenstown Gardens.

For sheer convenience, the Queenstown Mall offers a good choice of eateries and cafes, while for those who favour self-catering, the Alpine Supermarket on the corner of Shotover Street and Stanley Street is the best bet.

However, if it is views that you crave whilst dining out, then Queenstown's Skyline Restaurant and its 'Taste of New Zealand' buffet will not disappoint, being able to seat more than 300 diners. The adjoining Skyline Bar being perfect for a pre-dinner drink and the gondola rides add an extra element.
