Pulau Kukup National Park
We saw plenty of wildlife! Especially wild boars, skippers, and monkeys. When fishing there was plenty of different sea creatures and horseshoe crabs as well as other types of the shelled animal.

Small but worth it
A local taxi driver told us that the glass temple - or Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman - should be our first stop in Johor Bahru. We heeded his advice and paid him a small fee to take us there. While this attraction is small, it is most definitely unique and I've never seen anything quite like it elsewhere. The only thing I would complain about is having to pay photos, or was it only me that got charged?

Fantastic adventure
We had to take a lovely boat ride from Johor Bahru to Pulau Kukup National Park but that wasn't a problem at all. Once we got there, there was an interesting little Chinese village, where the people were very friendly, and endless amounts of mangroves - among other things. Could have been a bit more wildlife though, as we didn't spot much.

Designer shopping at its best
We were told by a taxi driver in Singapore of how his fellow countrymen had been flocking over the border to Johor Bahru in droves, just to visit the new designer outlet that has opened there. We didn't stay too far away from it when already in Malaysia and got great bargains on top designer names.
