Alette Wessels Kunskamer pictureVarious galleries are located around the city, with the Pretoria Art Museum being one not to be missed. Each year, the Pretoria Art Museum plays host to the Sasol New Signatures art prize, which always proves to be something of a crowd puller.

Also of note is the Association of Arts Pretoria, which is a non-profit gallery where many local, up-and-coming South African artists exhibit their array of pieces. Lovers of sculpture would be advised to pay a visit to either the Anton Van Wouw Museum or the University of South Africa Art Gallery (UNISA).
