Within the city itself, mid-range hotels are at their most desirable when standing next to the ocean. The Atlantic Avenue also offers four-star luxury accommodation, with the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront towering 21 storeys and boasting balconies with uninterrupted ocean panoramas. Other very impressive four-star hotels include the likes of the Founders Inn and Spa on Indian River Road (next to the Regent University), and Homewood Suites by Hilton on Cleveland Street (just off the Norfolk Virginia Beach Expressway I-264).
