Concord Restaurants and Dining

(Concord, New Hampshire - NH, USA)

Considering the city's fairly modest size, Concord is called home by a surprisingly decent assortment of restaurants, in the form of bistros, Italian eateries, pizzerias, steakhouses and traditional American burger joints.

The majority of the dining options are based within the downtown district or its outskirts, while there are also a number of familiar chain eateries to be found lining Loudon Road, to the northeast of downtown Concord.

With southern New Hampshire located alongside the North Atlantic Ocean, the dining menus at local restaurants tend to feature seafood of some description. Look out for dishes containing sushi-grade yellowfin tuna, Atlantic salmon, cod, haddock, clams, lobsters and scallops, as well as Prince Edward Island mussels, from the north. Corn chowder with bacon is an especially popular staple dish, particularly during the cold winter months.
