Concord Hotels and Accommodation

(Concord, New Hampshire - NH, USA)

A relatively small state capital, Concord may not have a huge selection of hotels to choose between, but for most, there is more than enough choice when it comes to accommodation in this city.

Big brand-name chain hotels compete with smaller, family run B&Bs and guest houses, with some of the most popular being located in the very heart of downtown Concord. Accommodation in the city center is often close to the Styles Bridges Highway (S-93), the Frankin Pierce Highway (US-9) and the Eddy Plaza Shopping Center, as well as West Terrill Park and the Merrimack River.

Particularly central is the Holiday Inn Concord Downtown Hotel, which is located on North Main Street and is within walking distance of the Capitol Shopping Center, the New Hampshire Historical Society, the Capitol Center for the Arts and the John Stark Statue.

Where to Stay

Most Concord hotels tend to be rated two or three stars, being competitively priced and at their cheapest during the winter.

Highly recommended accommodation in Concord includes the modern Residence Inn Hotel on Hall Street, which resides on the southern side of the city, roughly 30 minutes from the Manchester Boston Regional Airport (MHT), via the Frederick E. Everett Turnpike (Interstate I-93).

Just down the road and also on Hall Street, the Best Western Inn offers a useful alternative for those wishing to stay in this part of the city. On the northern side of Concord, the Courtyard Hotel (by Marriott) is a popular accommodation choice with travelers and is easy to find, standing close to Interstate I-93 and next to Horseshoe Pond. For budget motels and cheap lodging, consider the Days Inn on South Main Street, the Comfort Inn on Hall Street, and the Fairfield Inn on Gulf Street.
