Baton Rouge and its beautiful Courthouse
What a beautiful building the Courthouse is. It was very elegant in a simple and was so detailed on the inside - lots of nice features and a gorgeous winding staircase. The address is 100 North Boulevard. It is on the eastern side of the city, right next to the river.

The architecture around North Boulevard
The North Boulevard is where some of the city's finest architecture is located and in particular, on the southern side of the street, next to the financial district. This is a very wide and spacious boulevard and is lined by some rather splendid oak trees. I really liked the Old Capitol building and also the Old Governor's Mansion. If you have time, there are plenty of opportunities for shopping and dining.
