There are fun model trains, nature walks, science stations, biology displays and many traveling exhibits, while the Pioneer Homestead cabins allow visitors to gain an understanding of life in the late 19th century.

Panama City's Visual Arts Center of Northwest Florida is an art school and a museum dedicated to national and regional works of art. While most children baulk at the idea of visiting an art gallery or museum, this one has a nifty hands-on exhibit suitable for kids, with the popular Impressions Gallery.
