A Guided Tour of the Grutas de Garcia
The Grutas de Garcia are based around the Villa de Garcia, to the northwest of Monterrey. This is an extensive network of caves, which are something like 2 km long. Our tour guide was really good at his job and made us all laugh a lot - he was the best bit! The chair lift was also pretty good.

MARCO
MARCO is the Museum of Contemporary Art and contains some lovely Maestros Mexicanos. I fell in love with some of the paintings. It is easy to find and is next to the Macroplaza.

Down in the Zona Rosa
The Zona Rosa is a lovely part of Monterrey. We walked around here all day and particularly enjoyed the street entertainers, who were dancing around the Macroplaza and even snake charming. There were some parrot-type birds squawking loudly in the palm trees above.
