What To Do At Night
Banff is always a fun place to do when the sun goes down. We went to the Rose and Crown pub on Banff Avenue, which I can highly recommend. There was live music and a definite nglish atmosphere. It was obviously a good pub, because a lot of the local Canadians seemed to be hanging out there.

St. James's Gate - A Good Irish Public House
St. James's Gate was a nice pub and close to a theatre. It is quite a modern pub, and extremely friendly. We spent some time chatting to the locals and drinking the beer, we although it wasn't what you would describe as 'cheap', it certainly wasn't overpriced in comparison to other pubs around Banff.

Resort Town and Skiing
Banff has definitely become a resort town and as such, it tends to be more expensive than other nearby Canadian towns, due to the high number of tourists who seem to flock here all through the year. We went skiing at Sunshine Village, which was truly outstanding and has to be one of the best places to ski in Canada. There was loads of soft, natural snow and some great views.

We Went To Tommy's Pub
There's no doubt that Tommy's Pub is one to look out for if you're stay in Banff. The food there is great and there are some television screens so that you can watch sports, like ice hockey and such. I had a steak sandwich, which wasn't far off from being sublime. There were paninis as well, if you wanted to be a little European.
