Buses and Coaches

Oludeniz is a long journey by bus from Istanbul or Ankara, and it would be best to fly from those cities if you are already in the country. Local minibuses (dolmuses) provide public transportation around the resort and to the villages of Ovacik and Hisaronu, and larger hotels often have their own dedicated shuttles. Minibuses also travel to and from Fethiye and provide a cheap way to hop between nearby places of interest.

Trains

There is no rail service to Oludeniz.

Taxis

Meter taxis offer fast transport between Ovacik, Hisaronu, Fethiye and Oludeniz. Rather than opt for taxis, it is just as easy to make use of local dolmuses and also save money, plus you can simply walk around the beaches and main villages. Many taxi drivers will refuse to use their meter, so be sure to agree the price before the off or look for another driver.

Boats and Ferries

The town doesn't have a marina itself, although nearby Fethiye receives regular services. Many ferries arrive in Fethiye from Marmaris, with an additional ferry service connecting the holiday island of Rhodes in Greece.
