Photo of sunloungers on Oludeniz beachfrontOludeniz has good weather year round, on account of its southerly locale overlooking the Mediterranean. Although dry and having clear skies, it gets particularly hot and often uncomfortable in the summer, with temperatures reaching into the 40°Cs.

The climate of Oludeniz is classic Mediterranean, with little rainfall from May to October (the main tourist season) and a winter which can hardly be considered as such. The best time to visit for both the sun and lack of crowds is in the spring and autumn - May, June, September and October.

Seasonal Climate Variations / When to Go

Oludeniz has seasonal weather, as does anywhere in Europe, yet its setting in the southern Mediterranean sees it enjoying warmth at all times. During the extreme heat in the high season months of July and August, the best place to hole up on the beach is around the corner on the lagoon side. It is a sheltered bay with a row of shady trees.

It hardly rains in Oludeniz between May and October, and the temperatures in the shoulder season months hold at an average of around 25°C / 77°F. The winter climate sees the most rainfall in this region, and precipitation is often quite heavy during this period.
