Lewis Glucksman Gallery pictureTraditional Irish paintings are in good supply within the various art galleries of Cork. These are to be found all over the city and include offerings on Father Matthew Street, Fenns Quay, Tobin Street and Emmet Place, where the esteemed Crawford Municipal Art Gallery resides. At the campus of the University College Cork (UCC), the Lewis Glucksman Gallery is a modern venue with frequent lectures and a popular restaurant overlooking the riverfront.

Outside of the city proper and yet still within County Cork, further art galleries reside within nearby towns and villages, such as Castletownbere, Clonakilty, Cobh, Glengarriff, Kinsale, Macroom, Rosscarbery and Skibbereen.
