Jardin des Oliviers

This park was originally part of the Villa Vera until it was bought by the City of Cannes and opened to the public. An old olive grove and a nettle tree that's reputed to be 100 years old are just some of the botanical attractions within the Jardin des Oliviers.

La Croix des Gardes

This vast public park is made up of an impressive 136 acres / 55 hectares of urban community forest. Managed by the City of Cannes Parks and Gardens Department, La Croix des Gardes offers visitors a wonderful panorama, as well as plenty of space in which to walk or jog.

Château Vallombrosa and Park

Surrounding a 19th-century castle is this beautiful tropical park. Covering some 7 acres / 3 hectares, visitors to Château Vallombrosa and Park can enjoy a stroll amongst a fine selection of plants. Both the building and the park are listed as historical monuments.

Espace Riviera

Created on the site of the former festival hall in 1999, this hanging garden is an opportunity to view a rich variety of shrubs, trees and flowers. The Espace Riviera also offers a splendid panorama over La Croisette and old town Cannes, perched on Le Suquet.

Parc Résidences Champfleuri

Built at the end of the 19th century, visitors and locals alike can enjoy the rich variety of plant life and tranquil surroundings in this park. Within the Parc Résidences Champfleuri you can expect to find a Florentine garden, as well as beautifully landscaped Japanese, Provencal and Dutch gardens.

If you've ever wondered how all those magnificent flower displays at the Cannes Film Festival are produced, then a visit to the home of Cannes' Parks and Gardens Department in the l'Abadie district is a must. A guided tour of the municipal greenhouses is an impressive sight, revealing over half a million plants and mobile flower displays.
