National Maritime Museum (NMMC)
The National Maritime Museum is open Monday to Sunday and has lots of interesting galleries, exhibitions and activities, like films, storytelling and even an occasional treasure hunts. There were lots of book, boats and old archives. I'm told that the NMMC's Waterfront Cafe does a good carvery on Sundays.

Views from the National Maritime Museum
There are two really different views at the National Maritime Museum. From the top of the viewing tower are some lovely views across Falmouth Harbour and the coast - exactly what you'd expect from the outside. However, want you wouldn't expect are the underwater windows at the base of the tower, which let you look out onto the seabed and see fish and other interesting creatures.

Visiting St. Mawes
Come to St. Mawes Castle and experience some grand Tudor architecture and great decor. It is laid out rather like a clover leaf and the best way to reach the castle from Falmouth is one a ferry. Nearby, Pendennis Castle is considered to be its twin, although it much bigger and located higher up.
