I'll take you down to Chinatown!
How entertained I was when I learned that even somewhere like Port Louis had its own Chinatown! It goes without saying that the food is excellent, but there are also plenty of small shops and the place is just so vibrant. Never expected to find a Chinatown in Mauritius!

Re. A day at the races
Mr Woods, sorry for English I write but there is also 'Port Louis Race Track' if you visit again. It was wonderful day for family and I. You can get box there also. Please consider it next time you come to Port Louis.

A day at the races
During our 30 year marriage, the trip to the Champs de Mars racetrack was the only time my wife has turned a blind eye to me having a flutter. A great day out, regardless of whether you want to live it up by renting a box or wish to mix with the locals.

Informative
Mauritius Commercial Bank was kind in founding the Blue Penny Museum and more about the history of this lovely nation can be obtained by scanning the various items that are regarded as highly important to the locals, who are immensely proud of their heritage.

So vast
The Domaine Les Pailles is an amazing national park that spans over thousands of acres and also has a great culture centre. While my husband and I sat and watched, our young ones had a great time being taken round on a horse-drawn carriage.
