Kenya Art Galleries

(Kenya, KE, East Africa)

View of Nairobi's Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC)Kenya is home to relatively few public art galleries. Nonetheless, the country certainly doesn't lack artistic endeavour. Perhaps a wider view of artists' work can be found in Nairobi's art shops and galleries, with the renowned Rahimtulla Museum of Modern Art (RaMoMA) being especially notable and close to both the Railways Golf Course and Uhuru Park. Many cafes in Nairobi are also known for their changing displays of African art works, which are often for sale.

Visitors who plan to travel further afield can also look out for the many examples of art that exist within Kenya's towns and villages, as well as those scattered around its mountains, in the form of rock paintings.
