Lansing Golf Courses and Clubs

Golfers staying in this region of Michigan are fortunate enough to have a surprisingly large number of very decent golf courses right at their fingertips.

Two of the courses belong to the Michigan State University, while there are also four municipal golf courses and a number of private country clubs. Located within East Lansing, the Walnut Hills Country Club is especially notable, since it has played host to the Ladies Professional Golf Association's (LPGA) Oldsmobile Classic in the past.

One of the oldest courses is to be found at the Country Club of Lansing on Moores River Drive, which resides on the southwestern side of the city, in between Frances Park and Quentin Park. This historic golf club was founded as long ago as 1908 and comes with 18 holes, a driving range and additional sports facilities, such as a swimming pool and tennis courts.
