Maui Churches and Cathedrals

(Maui, Hawaii - HI, USA)

Churches are spread all around the island of Maui, with the highest concentrations being found within the towns of Ha'iku, Kahului, Kihei, Lahaina and Wailuku, where a number offer traditional Hawaiian weddings for out-of-state couples. Religious beliefs are mainly Protestant, Evangelical and Catholic, being accompanied by further smaller denominations.

Particularly important is the Keawalai Congregational Church at Kihei, which is the island's most historic, being completed in 1832 and constructed from coral. The Keawalai Congregational Church stands on Makena Road, where it enjoys a breathtaking oceanfront setting, being close to the Makena Beach and Golf Resort, and the Maluaka Beach Park.
