Santa Ana Hotels and Accommodation

By no means a small city, Santa Ana comes with a fair selection of accommodation. However, the largest number of hotels are clustered just outside of the city, to the south and to the northwest, in the direction of nearby Anaheim and its Disneyland theme park attractions.

Those planning to spend a vacation in Anaheim will find that hotels in Santa Ana tend to offer better value lodging, often being no more than a 15-minute drive away, via the Santa Ana Freeway (Interstate I-5).

Located on the eastern side of the city center are a series of popular hotels, which line East 1st Street and are close to Prentice Park. Accommodation in this part of the city includes the El Cortez Lodge, the Motel 6, the Royal Grand Inn, the Royal Roman Motel and the Wagon Wheel Motel.

Where to Stay

A number of additional hotels and motels are to be found a little further to the east along East 1st Street, in the direction of Tustin. These include the Guest Inn, the Leonardo Inn and Suites and the Sunland Motel, while on the northern side of Santa Ana, the Golden West Motel on North Main Street is a reliable budget option, as is the nearby
Red Roof Inn.

For accommodation a little closer to Anaheim, head northwards and into the adjoining city of Orange. The City Drive South is called home by the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Orange, and just a short drive away on the North State College Boulevard is the Hilton Anaheim-Orange Suites, which manages to boast consistently good reviews online.

On the Santa Ana Freeway itself, a true wealth of accommodation awaits potential patrons, with many familiar chain hotels and motels. Amongst the most popular brands here are Comfort Inn and Suites, Extended Stay, Holiday Inn, Residence Inn and Staybridge Suites, along with many others.
