One of the region's most eye-catching examples of natural scenery at its absolute best, the Cascada de las Tres Caidas comprises three waterfalls. Just a few kilometres from the centre of Guadalajara and close to the Delegación de Rancho, many people believe that these waters contain magical properties, while others simply come here to marvel at the cascading water, away from the city.

Parque Metropolitano (Metropolitan Park)

Offering the perfect respite from the busy centre of Guadalajara, the Parque Metropolitano offers a large recreational space and is frequented by many locals. With playing fields, a cycle track and a number of secluded seating areas, the park is the perfect spot for a quick picnic, stroll, sunbathe or sit down.

Parque Mirador Independencia

Bordered by the breathtaking canyon that is the Barranca de Oblatos, the Parque Mirador Independencia lies on the north-western side of Guadalajara. Famed for its canyon views, the park is an important green space and boasts a playground area for children, pathways suitable for jogging, hiking trails, and also a small open-air theatre, where a number of events and performances take place throughout the year.
