Guadalajara has plenty of budget accommodation, although the cheapest hotels are fairly spread out and located within various pockets all over the city. Also lookout for centrally located accommodation along the bustling Avenida La Paz, which is amongst the most notable thoroughfares in Guadalajara and well placed for sightseeing. Tourists staying in hotels along the Avenida La Paz will also be able to enjoy the nightlife, with many nearby clubs, bars and restaurants.

Close to Guadalajara's state governmental offices, hotels and accommodation options along the Avenida Juárez are just a short walk away from the lively San Juan de Dios market, which offers a true taste of local life. Next to the historic district of Guadalajara, hotels on the Avenida Ninos Héroes are especially popular with business travellers, being close to a number of commercial areas. Families will also find well-placed hotels in this part of Guadalajara, with a number featuring lush tropical gardens, terraces, pools and spas.
