Guildhall photoThe city of Kingston Upon Hull certainly does offer a packed calendar of events, which include a number of popular annual festivals, seasonal markets and fireworks displays, as well as Europe's biggest travelling funfair.

Street theatre, concerts and similar things to do and see form part of the Hull Freedom Festival, which is one of the city's newest events and brings much excitement to the city centre each September. Also popular in Hull are flower shows, medieval jousting events, kite-flying festivals, golf tournaments, family fun days and the annual Lord Mayor's Parade.
