Porthcurno Beach
This beach is just beautiful. That is all you need to say about this beach really. Parking was an average price but a bit of a hike to the beach from there.
Rock pools provide great entertainment for children whilst some rocks provide privacy for adults. The Minack Theatre is perched on the cliff nearby, but is a steep climb, so not ideal for people who are scared of heights.
This is one of my favourite beaches - if not my favourite.

I Love Penzance
We came here last summer and I think that it is the most beautiful part of Cornwall. The Penzance beachfront itself isn't that special and we only really came here to go shopping. But the are so many superb attrations nearby, like St. Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre and Land's End. We enjoyed the free fireworks display when we went to the Land's End theme park, although the whole thing was a bit cheesy and commercialised. I mean, what does Dr. Who have to do with Land's End?!

My Favourite Beach
Porthcurno is my favourite beach in the Penzance area. It is really nearby and just looks like something off the coast of the Mediterranean. It is just amazing. The waters are turquiose blue and clear, and the sand is really soft. There is a car park nearby and it is a short walk to get on the sand. There is also a gift shop if you want to buy a boogie board or a nice marble dolphin.

Mousehall Beach
It was a lovely sunny morning and so we took the children to the beach at Mousehall. We parked on the quay which is quite an experience in itself, because it is very narrow, cobbled and right next to the water. It was quite cheap though and we were here all day. The beach is very small although it wasn't that busy. It's worth coming here early though just so that you can park. There are often rockpools with baby fish, and some gift shops. My kids bought a big bag of shells for just £1 - bargain buy.
