Green Valley Resort and Country Club

Sited on the northerly outskirts of the city, the Green Valley Resort and Country Club is a tranquil place for a round. Complete with mountainous scenery, golfing shop, equipment hire, spacious clubhouse, bars and refreshments, the club has plenty of difficult challenges on the way round and also boasts a driving range, suiting those looking to improve their swing.

Lanna Golf Course

A particularly stunning course located on the northern side of the city, the Lanna Golf Course dates back to the 1970s. With a yardage of almost 7,200 and golf par of 72, highlights include a restaurant, professional golfing shop, elevated putting greens with good views, and 27 holes in total, which can be played as an 18-hole course and separate 9-hole course.

Chiang Mai - Lamphun Golf Club

Founded in the early 1990s and surrounded by picture-postcard hilly scenery, Chiang Mai - Lamphun Golf Club features 18 glorious holes and a length of more than 7,000 yards. Full of character, natural hazards and water features, this course is around one-hour's drive from the city centre.

One of the most noteworthy golf courses in the area, the Royal Chiang Mai Golf Resort enjoys a stunning valley setting, with streams, waterfalls and backdrop of mountains. There are many challenging holes, together with sandy bunkers, a clubhouse, on-site hotel, an undulating terrain and plenty of eye-catching palm trees.

A relatively new addition to Chiang Mai's golfing scene, the Highlands Golf and Resort opened at the end of 2005. Within easy reach of both the airport and nearby Sankaempang Hot Springs, the course also features practice areas, a popular driving range and impressive views.
