(Swaziland, SZ, Southern Africa)

Photo showing locally made candles and souvenirs for sale at market in MbabaneSwaziland only has one museum of note, namely the National Museum situated in Lobamba. When it comes to art galleries, however, Swaziland is much better provided for.

These are mostly privately-owned and showcase the work of local artists through exhibitions. The best-known of Swaziland's galleries are Guava Gallery and the Indingilizi Art and Craft Gallery. If you are paying a trip to Piggs Peak, then you may also like to consider visiting the Peak Craft Centre, which is to be found just a short distance from the Orion Piggs Peak Hotel and is known for its wealth of traditional handicrafts.
