Situated close to the Mission Hills Country Club and the Anneberg Golf Course, the Rancho Mirage Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert is a superb attraction for the kids in this otherwise adult-orientated city in the desert, featuring numerous fun hands-on exhibits. Specific highlights include a miniature rock-climbing area, a rope maze and a nifty magnetic sculpture wall. There is also a play area for the babies.
