Palm Springs Golf Courses and Clubs

Spread around Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert are a number of excellent golf courses. Enjoying an especially central setting is the O'Donnell Golf Club, which stands just past the Vineyard Shopping Center, overlooking the San Jacinto Mountains, where it was first established in the middle of the 1920s. The O'Donnell is a nine-hole course, but each hole comes with two different tee positions, meaning that a full 18-hole round can be played if you have the time.

Also close to downtown Palm Springs are the Mesquite Country Club, the Seven Lakes Country Club and the Tommy Jacobs' Bel Air Greens, all of which lie to the southeast, being based around Demuth Park. Located on the eastern side of Palm Springs International Airport, the Escena Golf Club comes highly recommended, since it was laid out by world-famous golfing legend Jack Nicklaus.
